  • Brightness Adjustment?

I have a 35 second video I’m looking over and it would be a really good video if I could brighten up the entire video a little. The only light in the video is from several car head lights on a particular area. I can see the people in the area fine, but it just needs to be brightened up a little bit more.

    How do I do this?

Add a Color Corrector 3-way filter to the clips. Then slide the sliders under the three color wheels until you get your results.

    Thanks for the quick reply.

I’m working with the sliders on Color Connector 3-way but see no changes being made. Obviously I’m missing a step here.

After you drop the filter onto the clip, you need to “double-click” that clip into the Browser window.
Then, you can see the adjustments.

    Thank you. That did it.

Even after well over half a decade of editing FCP,
I still sometimes get caught by that one.
