Bright white material
Hi, I’m using C4D and I have a scene, in it, a spotlight shines on a plane (and other objects). I need the plane to be 100% white (#ffffff) all the time except when something passes in front of it creating a shadow from the spotlight. Like if I set it as a matte object, but I need it to be in shadow if there is something in front of it.
There are other things in the scene so I can’t just ramp up the spotlight, nor can I use something like self illumination for the material because then there won’t be a shadow.
Does anyone know a way that I can get my material to bright white except when in shadow?
It help to note, I’m using Global Illumination.
Any help appreciated!
