Activity Forums Creative Community Conversations Bright Blue Clips

Not meaning to break into the oh-so-interesting FCPX Argument banter, but I have a curious thing happening in one Library that has many projects in it. I was recently asked to cut a shorter version of an approximately 3:45 recruiting video. Once duplicated I noticed a strange thing happening. I did a duplicate as snapshot of the latest “approved version” and created a “recut” version. But I noticed that my clips in the version I duplicated turned a bright blue compared to the other projects in the Library (there are 17 project versions in the Library). Is this a “feature” I am missing? I kind of like the brighter blue. Have I activated a feature that does this? Apologies in advance if this is a “forehead-slap” question.

    Longer version that was duplicated

Shorter version cut from the longer one

Have you selected Video in Roles?

It is selected, but if I turn that off, the video goes off.

Click at the bottom of the selections so that video is not highlighted.
