    Hi everyone,

I’m pretty new to C4D and i have what probably is an easy question?

I want to create a wall where each brick is a cube of a random X size. However the edges of the cubes need to touch the next one…like a brick wall.

So I made 4 cubes of X sizes: 30,70,120,80. They all together add up to 300cm but if I set the cloner size to be 300 on X, it’s never right. Shouldn’t C4D put the cubes together to a X size of 300cm?

Another option that doesn’t work me for is having only one cube inside the cloner and having a ‘random’ effector where I vary the X size, how could I get all those clones adjacent to each other?

Can someone point me in the right direction?

    Thanks for your help!!!

If it makes you feel better, this is not an easy question. Having a packed bunch of cubes with different random sizes, but all equaling a specific width/height involves lots of math. The only way to do it that I’m aware of is with Python.
