    Hi everyone

I’ve built an ISS-type space station and want to have an asteroid hit part of it, breaking through an arm/support and dent another section. Is there a way to limit the range of a deformer or explosion?

In After Effects, I’d use shatter and drop the force’s radius down. Do I have to make smaller components to achive the look I’m after?

Some deformers don’t have a range they have an amount but others do, it sounds like you’d want to use the Explosion FX deformer if you don’t want to have separate pieces.
