Break apart clip items CC is gone!
Hi does anyone know how to separate the audio from video using this function without loosing the colour correction that has been applied previously?
Is FCPX basically now forcing us to use the workflow that we do colour correction last in the workflow, I know it is more of a polishing feature than necessary for a basic edit but I like to perform basic polishing as I go rather than decide that the audio tracks are locked off let’s do some CC!
It’s probably a simple button press but I cannot see any information in the inspector which would lead me to believe it has simply turned off or anymore information under video animation so where has my CC gone?!

Use “detach audio” rather than “break apart clip items”. You can then select the audio clip and do “break apart clip items” if necessary.
