Branding iron burning through a map?
Hello,
Does anyone know how to create the effect of a branding iron that is going to be burning through a map? I’ve never done an effect like this and not sure how to go about it.
I’ll have to create the branding iron because it will have a logo on it.

I think he used an oval for the Flames spreading , and you could probably put your logo shape into the first part of that comp, then switch over to the oval as the fire spreads. Just a thought.
