Brain Freeze-MPEG2 export
I am suffering from a serious case of brainfreeze on this…. haven’t had to do this procedure in some time, but I don’t remember it being this difficult. Here goes:
I need to export a FCP sequence as an MPEG2 multiplexed file for use in a museum interactive kiosk. When I did this last (early this past year), it was a simple case of Exporting Using Quicktime Conversion, using the MPEG2 setting options and exporting. I would then use MPEG Streamclip, import both the audio and video files, and convert to MPEG2 with MP2 Audio.
Now I don’t have the MPEG2 setting option in FCP (currently using FCP 5.1.4) and its driving me batty trying to figure out what I need to do. I know that the solution is probably very simple, I am just not seeing it.
Thanks for you help.
