    I’m new to this so I watched a good tutorial but I’m doing something wrong. I’m using box projection it but its not unravelling it all the way.

    Here’s 2 screengrabs. you can see that when I paint on the one face it shows up on two faces. I messed around with unravel but I’m slicing it incorrectly or this isn’t the right tool.

    I was able to break this all apart by selecting areas and making 3 separate uv maps. This is a real basic model so it isn’t a problem but i’m not sure if this is how other people would do this or if there is an easier way. here is a screen grab of what i did.

    not that I BP much but with Box projection that’s what I would expect. It is UVW that gives individual control over every poly
