box swarm preset
I can’t get the Box Swarm effect to show up on any layer in After Effects. The preset is okay and other presets work. However, when I apply Box Swarm, I simply get the dialog box “animated shape control.” Nothing happens when I fiddle with the controls and no boxes appear. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Are you applying this animation preset to a shape layer? This animation preset is in the Shapes category. They apply to shape layers.
