Activity Forums Adobe After Effects Expressions Bounce at marker?

  • Posted by David Modijefsky on February 18, 2010 at 10:23 am

    Hi there,

I did a search first and tried a few expressions but they didn’t work for me. Here’s what I want to do. I have a layer that only moves down in y-direction between 2 keyframes. When arriving at the 2nd keyframe I want the layer to simulate a bounce. I think I need a script that works with a marker as trigger for in point. Am I correct? I’m working in CS4. Thanks in advance!

This expression should get you started:
“Expression example: Animate scale at each layer marker”

Thanks Todd. I was in such a hurry that I had to solve it with ordinary keyframes. Not as smooth of course. I wil look into your solution now. Much appreciated.
