This isn’t a Boujou forum, but maybe someone here can help..

I’m attempting to track a shot, from the POV it’s a tram ride up a ski mountain. My goal is to place 3d text, which I’ve already done in C4d. My track is pretty decent but in a few places where there is slight camera jitter it slips and appears a bit erratic.

I believe this is due to the amount of occlusion in the shot, the terrain is constantly changing and obviously hills are hidden behind other hills, lifts, etc…

When the shots are more parallel to the ground the track is great, but as the landscape passes a peak and reveals another the track goes awry.

Has anyone tracked a shot like this, or have any input on the best way to solve something like this in Boujou 5?

    Thanks,

    Steve

Not an expert in this, but the usual trick i’ve seen is to not try to do it all in one track, but to pair multiple, shorter, good tracks to a null. Then pair the null to your text.
