I have spent the last 3 days trying and trying to get this workflow to work for me but I am having multiple problems.. I shot the footage on the canon 5d mk2 1080 24p and opened it and tracked it fine in boujou.. saved the dimensions of my Z and my X and placed a test object in boujou and it worked perfect.. I exported both as a c4d file and a lightwave file and both seemed to export fine.. I try to open my video file as a texture in luminance and color both and set it as a background but either way its just a black sphere and I set it as a background and it says texture error when I try to render a sample.. thats one problem I have. the next problem is when I set up my render settings.. the original footage has 444 frames but everytime im ready to export i click ALL FRAMES and it says 0-444f but at the bottom it says its only exporting 427frames.. I set up the frame rate correctly to 23.976 and still nothing.. Next problem.. when I try to export the file to an AEC for after effects it wont even open.. please help me!! Here are some photo refferences to my set up..

As far as the video as a texture, there is a problem with the latest update for Quicktime. If you upgraded recently, you’ll need to downgrade to get it to work. We just ran into this problem a couple of weeks ago at the school I teach at. We had to downgrade several hundred machines to get it to work.

Found this thread here on CC:

You can find the previous versions of QT here:

As for the Boujou issue, I’ll defer to someone else…I’ve not used it enough.

    Hope that helps.
