  Both CC and CS6 require internet connection

  I own CS6 Production Premium and have a subscription to CC through the institution where I teach. It seems that the CC app has taken over managing and updating CS6 in addition to CC apps.

  The CC subscription I have is pre-paid for 12 months in advance.

  When launching CS6 I frequently get alerts saying I need to log-in to use the application. This typically happens when I am disconnected from the Internet, or the computer is woken from sleep and temporarily has lost its web connection.

  I’m puzzled why I’m required to log-in to CC when I launch any of the CC or CS6 applications, does anyone have a clue what’s going on here?

  FWIW: OS 10.9.1 Macbook Pro Retina, 16GB RAM.
