I purchased but have not received my unlocl code for BR5. In trial version it WILL NOT render MOV files. Is this supposed to happen in trial version?
Does this happen after the unlock code is applied? Is this a bug?
I installed the latest version of Quicktime and all other software works on the same PC.
    Thanks for your assistance.

    Hi Steve,

    Here’s the scoop.

The movie files that you are trying to render, .mov, rely on the Quicktime codec. Because there isn’t a 64 bit version of the Quicktime codec available, RED 5 64 bit cannot render out or read in Quicktime based files. You can however install the RED 5 32 bit version which uses the 32 bit version of Quicktime and will enable you to complete your work. You can download the 32 bit version from our web site at borisfx.com/downloads and the license that you already have will work for both 64 and 32 bit versions of the software.

    I hope this helps.

    Cheers,

    Peter.
