When I use XML Transfer to export my timeline, the timeline gets messed up. The clips stay in the order they were in from the FCP timeline, but the in and out points of the clips are messed up and there are long sections of black in between clips where simple default cross dissolves used to be.
I am not using subclips. Each file is its own quicktime file.

We’ll need to see your XML file to be sure. Can you email it to me at boris@borisfx.com?

Ever found out what the problem was? I’ve experienced a similar problem.

    Thanks!

Nope, I sent off the information and never heard back.

    Thanks for the response!

I solved it here. The sequence was a 50fps imx sequence. The shift in in- \out- points happens when Boris converts it to a 25fps sequence (in my case). When setting the Boris import settings to 50 fps it imports fine.
