I’ve been looking into purchasing the Boris FX package, so I downloaded their demo version off of their site. None of the filters or effects worked. I found out later that I needed FCP6 and I’m still running 5.1. Okay, no problem…I’m upgrading to 6 in a months or two.

The problem is that I can’t seem to get rid of the filters. I deleted them from the plug-ins folder, but every time I launch FCP, there they are in my effects pallet. How do I kill them once and for all (or at least until I upgrade)?

I had this happen awhile ago too…. hm. What I did is re-run the installer, and just before it installed it came up with the path where it was going to install the Boris stuff. That’s the folder I had to delete.

Too much to ask for an uninstaller Boris?

[Borjis] “so many times I get called boris.

How do you say it if it’s not boris?
