    Boris Transfer AE generates empty composition

    I’m testing Boris Transfer AE 3.0.4 and when choosing to link to original source references, the clips are imported correctly but the composition is empty (no layers) in AE.

    When checking off the ‘link to original references’ the composition shows the proper layers but the clips are offline placeholders.

    I must mention that I am using MXF Import from Calibrate Software in order for Quicktime to be able to read AVID ProRes MXFs.

    I can also successfully import a ProRes MXF into AE.

    I think it was because one clip couldn’t be reconnected and interrupted the code (Comp not made).

    I find that using Boris Transfer is very unpredictable when using in conjunction with MXF Import from Calibrate Software so I decided to use it to reconnect to the digital negatives (DSLR H.264 in my case).
