Well actually it’s both host and OS dependent so here’s the current list:

RED 5.2.2: Win Adobe CS3, 4; Avid; Edius 6.5; Vegas Pro 32 bit 10, 11
RED 5.2.1: Win Edius 6.0
RED 5.2.0: Win Adobe CS5, 6; Avid; Vegas Pro 64 bit 10, 11
RED 5.1.4: Mac Adobe CS4; Apple; Avid
RED 5.2.0: Mac Adobe CS5, 6; Avid

I just installed Media100 Suite 2.1.2 and it updated my RED to v5.1.5.607.

When selecting from the software update list for RED, it’d be helpful if Media100 was listed with the appropriate version.

Okay, well after a conversation with release engineering I have this information to offer:

The most up to date version of Boris RED for 32 bit Mac OS hosts available for download from our website is 5.1.4. RED 5 is included with Media 100 and benefits from frequent updates and one of the most recent updates to Media 100 brought RED 5 up to 5.1.5 – this is for Media100 only and not any other 32 bit host on the Mac. The RED 5.1.5 installer for Media 100 cannot be downloaded from our website independently of the Media 100 Suite product installer.
