  Boris Red Text Distorted in Final Cut Pro 6.0.3

  Hey everyone,

  Our editors use Boris Red for a flying text element in one of our shows. We recently upgraded to Final Cut 6.0.3 (from 6.0.2) and now whenever we apply Boris Red 4 to a slug the text is distorted. (was using 4.1 and tried up upgrading to 4.2.1 with no help). It’s squished and not as tall as it should be. When the same filter is applied to a video clip it looks fine, it’s just distorted when applied to a slug.

  It is in a AJA KONA 1080i 29.97 DVCPro HD sequence, FCP 6.0.3, Quicktime 7.4.5, and Boris Red 4.1 or 4.2.1

  Any suggestions on how to fix this or work around it would be greatly appreciated!
