    Boris Red Smoke Effect

    I am using Boris Red 5.2.2 in Edius 6.54
    I want to put a Smoke effect over a shot, but can only find fire.
    Yet Boris says there is an effect for smoke.
    Any ideas where and how?

    Hi Mark-
    Though this is geared more towards title effects and transitions, you might be able to apply the ideas from this tutorial to accomplish the effect you’re looking for: https://www.borisfx.com/videos/RED/Title-Effect-Animations.php . Look to about the 11 minute mark for a good rundown on a smoke style effect.

    I have now figured it out using the Fire BCC effect.
