I currently use Boris Red 4.3 as a stand alone program. My operating system is 27′ imac i7 quad core 2.93gz 16g ram 2t hard drive space with a ATI Radeon HD 5750 GPU. I have some footage frame size 1440 x 1080, and im trying to use the motion Key Filter to remove an object from the footage. But when i import the footage, the frame size is smaller than1440x1080. In fact the frame size of the footage turns into 720×480 and i cant think of how to get it back to full screen 1440×1080. Can someone help me with my issue?

I don’t use RED on a Mac but on the PC, you need to go to Edit | Project Settings… and set the project up for your frame size and frame rate.

If you need to change the way that the media is interpreted, you need drill into the track to reveal Track > Face > Media and double-click on Media. That will allow you to change how the media is interpreted by RED.
