Boris Red in Avid 6
Since I updated to Mac Lion and Avid 6, I no longer have access to Boris Red inside Avid. Or at least I don’t think I do. Does anyone know if that is a situation requiring an update from Boris or do I need to reinstall Red? Is it possible the Red filter is still there and I’m just not seeing it. I did purchase and install BCC 8, but I don’t think Red is a part of that.

AFIX FX aka BORIS RED is included in the packaging for AMC 6. I think theres an extra folder i nthe installers for that plus squeeze and if your PC, avid dvd.

Thanks Neil. I found the installer. (Unfortunately also found that the module is buggy in that it thanks me for my serial number and then promptly forgets I’ve activated it. But I guess I have to take that up with Boris.) Are you the keeper of any other secrets? I’d also love to get my Red Giant plug ins that used to be available within Avid to reappear as well. Perhaps I’ll call the company.
