I created an animation which includes extruded text. In the Extrude tab, I set the face color to white, the extrude to black and the bevel to a dark grey, all with a “constant” keyframe interpolation. Everytime I change ANYTHING else in the animation, including simply saving the composition or the project file, the bevel color goes to a reddish color (it’s the first color in the upper lefthand square of the color chooser). Does anyone know why this is happening? I’m tired of going back to fix the color every time — it’s just one more thing to worry about.

If anyone can help, I’d appreciate it.

When you started to make the animation did you set your first keyframe’s parameters by clicking the keyframe and making it red and then setting the parameters? This is a big gripe of mine about the keyframer. When the CTI (current time indicator) is on the keyframe and you have the track selected it doesn’t automatically select the keyframe for editing. You literally have to click that keyframe and make it red first.

    good luck…
