Boris Red compatibility w/ FC6?
Hey all,
(using FC 5.1.4)
I’ve been searching around but can’t seem to find the answer spelled out for me either here or on the rest of the web. We used to use the Boris Red as well as Continuum Complete software, and were particularly big users of the Red transitions within FCP, however that all went out the window with the the 5.1.x upgrades. I’m trying to put together a convincing proposal for my supervisor that we should upgrade to FCS2, and one of the big-selling points is that FC6 works with Boris Red and Continuum complete: compatibility has been restored (at least with the upgraded versions of Red and BCC).My question is: is this true? Researching on the BorisFX site I found that BCC is compatible with FC6, but I can’t find that info about Red. Also, more specifically: do the Red transitions work within FC6?

I have Red 4.1.4 and it works within FCP 6.1.2. Transitions too.
