    Boris Red and AE plugin

    Hi Everybody,

    I have Red5 with Sony Vegas and have read that AE plugin would work in red5.

    Does that mean that if I have Magic Bullet 2 for AE I can use it from within Red5 ?
    Where do I need to look in red5 to start to use/find the AE plugin ?

    Any place wher this is ‘documented’

    Thanks for any explanation/help you can provide.

    Hi,

    This filter has not been tested with RED 5 but if you want to try that, you will need to place the filter here:

    64 bit:
    c\Program FIles\Boris FX, Inc\BorisPlugins5Common64

    32 bit
    c\Program FIles\Boris FX, Inc\BorisPlugins5Common32

    Thanks I’ve done that and now I see in the filter the “red giant plugin” but no luck as it crashed Vegas.

    Would it be possible to have a list of the AE plugins that have been tested with vegas and that seem to work ?

    Hi,

    The only plug-ins that have been tested with RED 5 in the Sony Vegas Pro host in our labs and are known to operate as expected are BCC 7 and FEC 5.
