Boris RED 5–Integration with Vegas Transitions and Video FX tabs
This one can probably best be answered by John Rofrano: I was viewing John’s RED 5 webinar, and learned how to save customized RED transitions and effects, and to make them available from Vegas’s corresponding tabs. What I’m uncertain about is whether or not any of the default transitions and effects that RED offers should already be present on those tabs…or should one initially expect to see only the “Boris RED” element in the scrolling window on the left?

There are no default transitions or effects presets yet so you should not see anything. There was talk of having them as a download but I don’t know what the status of that is. Just pick your favorites from the hundreds available in the RED Browser and save them as I showed in the webinar.
