Boris Red 5 doesnt install correctly in Premiere Pro 5.5
I recently purchased Red 5 for use with Premiere Pro CS 5.5. I am very disappointed that the installer included with the most current version of Boris Red 5 (MAC ) only has an installer for Premiere Pro CS4. It didn’t get installed correctly since it does not show up in the effects window in PrP. Most other vendors have a special installer to deal with the CS 5.5 issue. Anybody know a workaround to fix this dysfunctional installer ?

Hi Tom,
The reason for this is that RED 5 in it’s current incarnation is not built to run in 64 bit applications on the Mac platform. On Windows this work has been done and RED installs and operates as expected in that environment, but the Mac port remains a work in progress. Having said that, the work is close to completion and once it is ready, you will be able to install and operate RED 5 on Mac CS 5 +. I hope this helps explain the situation.
