  Boris red 4.2 Applying Transitions

  I am using FCP 2 on a G5 2.7 and i am applying a boris red 4.2 transition effect between 2 clips on V2 when i open the effect in Boris to modify that works fine. My problem is when i Apply the effect and go back to FCP the transition eliminates V1 for the duration of the effect and then V1 comes back after the transition is done.
