Boris Red 4 – AE interface guidance
I have downloaded the trial version of Boris Red 4 to give it a test. Standalone seems to work fine, but it’s not clear how the plug-in works in AE CS4 (MasOSX). I tried making a solid and adding the Boris effect but nothing is happening.
Is there a link to a tutorial on working with AE as a host? I notice it was not listed in the hosts list in the help file.

Wynn,
you will need to create a solid and apply RED as a filter. Then you need to enter our custom UI by either clicking Options on the filter or the RED banner itself. I can’t check it now but one of the two will work. To learn more about RED you may want to start here:
