Boris RED 3.0.5 with Final Cut Studio 5.1.1?

Don’t upgrade yet. I upgraded to 5.1.1 and did not realize that Red was not going to work till I needed it. Well I installed the RED 3.0.5 Patch last night and it Still doesn’t work. Instead of Getting a Blank in RED now I get a Green Screen when I try to ues it as a Filter. Nothing like having ONE Program shut your Edit session down.

Yeap, I hear ya, I won’t do the 5.1.1 upgrade. I sent in my Final Cut Studio 5.0 to get the upgrade 5.1 discs, I didn’t even think of Boris RED not working with it. I’m still have filter problems with RED 3.0.5 and FCP 5.1. Thought 5.1.1 might help. I guess not.

Just don’t tell me we have to wait for RED 4 for a real fix. Hello Boris…this is Doris, your mission is to get the current RED working with FCP 5.1 and 5.1.1.
