I am trying to create a countdown timer. I have tried both Graffiti and Blue and I get the same results.

Using the timecode option in the text generator, I can adjust almost every parameter although in the transform tab, it allows you to select a different font and size, but it never takes the change and always defaults back to ‘Arial Narrow.’

Is this just a bug or am I doing something dumb?

    Any suggestions…????

    Thanks,

    Hi Brandon,

Sounds rather odd alright and not the expected behavior. With a text track selected in the timeline, if you click on the face sub-track and make adjustments to parameters in the Controls Window the changes should stick. I’m not sure why they are not. Try double-clicking the top level text track – this action opens the text generator window. Then make sure that the text is selected in the text generator window and change the font – does this change stick?

    Hope this helps,

    Peter.
