On a recently purchased FCP 6 Mac Pro system, the standard Boris plug-ins (Title 3D, etc.) do not load when FCP starts up.

The files are installed in the Plug-Ins folder, but their icon shows up as a folder, not a plug-in. I don’t know why, or if this matters or not.

Anyone have a clue why this might be happening? And anything to try to fix, other than a complete application re-install?

Thats sounds like if the installations was not completed. Try to re-install FC.

I also found the two Boris Text plug-ins missing after I updated to FCS2.

I went searching on the net and found that they are downloadable for free.

By the version number it looks like it’s an old one but I checked and there has never been a later version than the one at this link.
