Boris Graffiti
Posted by Mark Altland on September 23, 2010 at 11:53 pmI downloaded the trial/demo of Graffiti and when I start up vegas the plug-in is not there. I did check in the VideoFX tab. I tried both 32 & 64 bit version of vegas 9 and nothing. If it helps I am using Windows 7 Is this normal for the trial?
Thanks in advance.

September 24, 2010 at 12:52 amI have the light version of Graffiti that came with Vegas 7 and it’s a standalone app.
You create your titles in it, export them and bring them into Vegas. -

Try looking under Generated Media. Boris Graffiti is not an FX, it’s a title generator.

September 24, 2010 at 10:14 amCheck the following folder:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Sony\Vegas Pro 9.0\Video Plug-Ins\
and make sure the Boris DLL’s are in there. If not… that’s your problem. Also, it will only work in 32-bit Vegas.

September 24, 2010 at 11:25 amYep that is the problem no Boris DLL’s
Any idea how to fix? I uninstalled & reinstalled before I started this thread and obviously it didn’t fix it.

September 24, 2010 at 11:40 amWhen you install Graffiti, you get to select the version of Vegas. Was Vegas Pro 9.0 an option and did you select it? If so it should have been given a final confirmation window that shows the path it will copy the DLL files into… just make sure that path is the path I gave you.

September 24, 2010 at 3:58 pmWhen I installed it did not give me the version of 9.0. It only went up to 8.0, so maybe that is the problem since I have 9.0 installed.

September 24, 2010 at 6:21 pmBoris Graffetti needs to catch up to Vegas. They sent me an apology for being slow to develop the pkug ins. Now with the coming of
Vegas 10 they are really past tense. -

September 25, 2010 at 12:31 pmJust select Vegas 8 during install and point to your Vegas 9 folder and it will work. There is no difference between plug-ins for Vegas 8 and 9.
