Boris FX Trial
I have downloaded Boris fx trial, when I apply the effect to my 10 second clip I get 1 second timeline in boris….is this a trial limitation….timeline resiolution doesn’t seem to work either…

You have to manually change the Boris timeline to match.

that’s silly ….The resolution slider doesn’t move…so I have to change the timeline numbers somewhere? any way to see the background video in boris composite window?

No. You’ll get a still only. You might consider using Boris as a standalone so you can see the video in the composite window. It will still WORK fine as a plugin, though – you just have to live with the limitations.

make the whole composite in Boris then just use it as a clip in Vegas…I can do that, actually already have Afterfx and I guess I could/would do it that way. I came from velocity where I am used to having one very realtime channnel of DVE….
