Will Boris FX and ProDad plug in’s work on a 64bit machine? I am using Vegas 8.1 and was hoping those plug ins would work with it. Thanks.

    Sorry Jason,
At present, they will not work efficiently.

Darn…the cartoonr FX I got free from newblue doesn’t work either. Plus, I am not seeing a huge difference in speed on my 64bit machine. I am thinking I should have stayed 32 bit for a while longer…

Yeah, i would have advised that. If you had read my post below
this, you would see that that was the first stumbling block
you would encounter if you fully migrated over to 64 bit.

Therefore having both 32 bit and 64 bit pc/workstation side
by side, will then give you the best of both worlds.

You might try 8c on your 64 bit machine. I have 8.1 and 8c on my 64 bit machine; and while my plugs won’t work in 8.1, at least Raylight plug is working properly in 8c.
