I haven’t heard anyone bitching about this, but this problem has really been a pain for me… When I upgraded to OSX, none of my Boris filters were backwards compatible. 90% of my projects use Boris filters of some sort. I now get between 10 and 50 instances where I have to relay the Effects in on older projects… It’s a major pain and I now no longer use Boris Gaussian Blur on any new projects (I use AE’s default), because I don’t know if future versions will give me the same problem.

    Just thought I’d vent….

    thanks,

ok, this is what you are supposed to do.
when you are ready to install the newer version, don’t delete the older plugins, just install the new plugins.
when you open after effects, you will see the older version first then the newer version.
    hope this helps.

Thanks Darrell, but it didn’t work in this case (I think because they were made for classic)….
