Boris 3d title tool edit window has disappeared.
Usually I use 2 monitors but one is in the shop. Now when I go to open Boris 3d title tool, the tool opens up off screen (I know this because when I use expose it comes back to my only monitor). There seems to be no way for me to get the 3d title tool to open in my one and only monitor.
I have done all of the usual stuff – trash FCP preferences, use disk utility, but no luck. Anyone run into this? Are there Boris preferences to trash?
Man, this really sucks. All I had to do was alter 4 titles and I was done.
Oh, that’s the way it goes.

Just trying going to Window > Arrange > Standard to reset the FCP window arrangement. The should bring the Boris window back to normal as well.

I always use two monitors as well.
I’ve never had this problem, but if Title 3D works like most Mac window-based programs:
You just need to open it, drag it onto the monitor you wish it to be viewed on and then CLOSE IT while its still on the window you want.
The next time you open a new window, it should pop up on the correct screen. -
If nothing else works, open the boris tool, switch the cable on the back of your mac, make your edit, and switch the monitor cable back.
