    Hey y’all.
    I could use some help.
So every time I render a video to WMV in vegas, I get a black border around my video. I’ve tried switching to a few different sizes, but I can’t get it to go away. This is a problem because I’m a YouTube vlogger, and so I have an annoying border on YouTube. Secondly, I’m participating in a film festival in about two weeks, and my film will be shown on the big screen. So this question comes in a few parts. 1. How do I get rid of the border!? Is it just a size problem? If it is, then… 2. What size should my YouTube videos be? and 3. What size should it be for a movie theater?
    Thanks!!

assuming you’re rendering to a 640 x 480 stream for YouTube, check the “Stretch to Fill” on render as the easiest solution. There are others as well. Be sure all your media is either sized or cropped to fit the correct project settings.
If you know you’re going to YouTube *only* wth the media, open a 640 x 480 project before even beginning to edit, and have all media size to fit that aspect by either cropping or stretching.
    If it’s going on a theater screen, you’ll prolly be using a DVD, which means it’s 720 x 480 MPEG2 output.
