Booting OS9 classic in OSX
Hey All,
Just wondering if anyone has had any experience with this…I have a dual 1ghz g4 running OSX v10.3.9, with five users. In booting
up the OS9.2 environment for one of our apps, all of our users but one is able to load up in classic. The progress bar on the classic load
window makes its way to about the last 1/8″, and then just hangs there.I’ve tried playing with extensions, but it doesn’t seem to be the issue. The fact that one login is able to access classic seems to point to a user prefs issue.
Any thoughts?

Hi Andrew,
It’s probably either an extension issue or a network one. Try removing all the OS 9 extensions except the default ones and rebooting OS 9. Also, you’ll want to delete the folder named “Servers” in the OS 9 system folder (you might try disconnecting your Ethernet cable to test as well).
