BOOSTING RAM
Is there a way to improve the RAM configuration of my Windows XP SP2 machine? I have 1 GB RAM and a 256 video card. I ve heard that you can somehow relocate ram resources so they can be used by the video editing/effects programs (virtual memory adjustments, hdd allocations of extra space…) but I have no idea how to accomplish those. I recently used this to get some improved performance in AE. Not sure how it effected other apps, but further down in this doc are adobe’s recomendations for RAM and virtual memory settings.
