    I’m just trying to knock out a series of about 8 vertical cubes from a larger cube. Think of a gate. A big slab where I’m just trying to create the bars.

    I’ve grouped the 8 bars into one object, put that first into a boolean and then the slab. Changing the order of which is the first child of the boolean only gets me the opposite of what I want.

    Any other tips of what I should know or be doing? I thought once that I had used an image map to knock a shape out of another but don’t remember much more on that.

    Thanks

    Arrange the objects this way(a slash is one step down in the hierarchy)
    Boolean
    /Large Cube
    /Small Cube 1
    // Small Cube 2
    // Small Cube 3
    // Small Cube 4
