  • Boole with multiple objects

I’am new in Cinema 4D and about to try some stuff. I want to model a ball which has kind of circuits on it. So I made an cyan glowing sphere with an black sphere over it and than subtracted some torsos as a Boole. So this was my result:

It comes very close to the result I want to have. Only the cross of the two torsos is not smooth enough. It tried many different options with the Boole and tried to move it. But at the perfect position stuff like this happend:

So I tried to make the torsos editable and to delete the overlayed segments. After deleting all this segments the Torso just disappeared:

I found no solution or people with same problems by searching the net. I would be happy if some of you could help me witch this problem because it bother me for a long time.
I hope you understand what i want to say even my english isn’t that good.
    Thank you in advise!

you can put Booles inside of Booles (and Connects to join things that don’t touch but need to both be cut from something)

in your case (judging from the first image) you want

    Boole (A without B)
    –Sphere
    –Boole (A Union B)
    —-Torus (big one – slice)
    —-Connect
——Torus (small one on one side)
——Torus (other small one on other side)
    Sphere (with the glow texture)

The connect assumes you have a round (torus) cut on the side of the sphere we can’t see.
