    hi all,
    i got an .stp file from a client that represents a golf ball. it has many polygons due to the dimples. i’m not very well versed in cinema so i’m sure that’s where the majority of my problem is. basically, i have the ball then a cube going left to right to reveal it using a boole. it works for a few frames here and there but the rest of the frames i will see the cube that i’m using to reveal the ball. any help would be awesome and i do appreciate it.

    if the .stp is many disconnected polys it might have to be fixed before it will work but try turning off High Quality in the Boole’s settings first

    thanks brian,
    unfortunately, i have no further control of the .stp output. i did forget to mention that when clicking off the high quality option, i can see the animation working correctly but the ball itself turns into lines/shading, no material and renders as such. appreciate the help!
