Books for learning Cinema 4d?
I can’t find anything for a designer’s pov. I’m must trying to
get a basic overview, and all I’m seeing are tutorials more for
hardcore animators, like making hand puppets and tracking racecars. -

Rob Garrott made the best basic quickstarts I’ve seen.

It’s called Cinema 4D the Artist’s Project Sourcebook.
She has a sensibility right out of Inscape.
