Book recommendation for A.C.
Hi, Everyone
I’m looking to getting a first-time job as a 2nd or Camera PA at the beginning of next year. What recommendations would you have for me? I’d like to purchase a book to begin reading up on the nuances of being an A.C., but am unsure as to which book out there is the best “bang for your buck.”

Hi Brandon, you’ve gotten some very good advice here.
I would also recommend downloading David Elkins’ excellent The Camera Assistant’s Manual
to Kindle for less than $30.
This book, and the companion website, are tremendous resources for the beginning AC and well worth the $30 investment.
