Bold font
I have an issue that is mind boggling!
I’m using Goudy Old Style font for text in an FCP 5.1 project. I sent my client a QT file for review and they are insisting that the font is bold for all the text. I am definately using the “Plain” style setting.
I’ve compared the text in FCP with a file from Photoshop and the QT file and they all look the same to me and don’t appear to be bold. But when I replaced one of the text clips in FCP with a jpg of the same text from a Photoshop file the client reported that it now looked fine.
I’ll have to create jpg’s of all the text for this project but I don’t want to go through this for every project since it takes far longer to do it that way.
Does anybody have any ideas of what is going on here? -
