    Hi guys,

Just recently I bought a BMD Multibridge extreme (outdated model I guess) and am finding it hard to search the net for any info. It is funny since only a year ago I had been looking at this item on their site, speaking to people about it – since I bought the item, took a trip, came back to my office to install it and no info is on site 😉

Anywho, I would love to run it with my cs3 suit.

Can someone tell me what driver I should use for the multibridge extreme? I have found a site where they are all available but not sure which is for eclipse and weather that is OK for extreme?

Also, I currently have two 19″ LCD screens on my video card (outdated NVIDIA GeForce 7600GT) – am I able to hang onto them and connect a 3rd one via multibridge? I tried it with my 32″ HDTV LCD but there was no vision on it when I ran Premier?

Any info you can pass on as advice before I set up something wrong would be much appreciated!

    Regards,
    Lav

    All that should work OK.

What would I do without the ‘UNDO’ button!!!!

Thanks very much for such a prompt respond Baz! I will try it all again today, hopefully this time some magic appears on the HDTV 😉

Last couple of times I tried to connect anything on the DVI out on the multibridge, there was no vision on it. Then when I visit Display Properties and Settings TAB it was reading the following message:

The currently selected graphics display driver cannot be used. It was written for a previous version of Windows, and is no longer compatible with this version of windows. The system has been started using the default VGA driver. Please contact your hardware manufacturer to get an updated driver, or select one of the Microsoft provided drivers.

Once BMD is off, if I visit Display Settings, my dual view LCDs are there, no problem… That is why I thought I post and check which driver is best I use with the my extreme and weather it was a fact that I had 2 LCDs connected to my video card already that was causing to ‘get confused’ (politely put).

I just cannot wait to get it going!
    thanks again!

    Hi guys,

I thought I pop back up on the forum and report that I have managed to get the vision onto my HDTV LCD via RGB out (not DVI out) – I just had to un-tick the ‘enable video desktop’ to get that done.

The edit preview is now on the HDTV and NOT on one of my 19″ LCDs, which I was hoping to keep. (I used to have full screen preview on one of the 19″ LCDs)

I guess I was hoping to keep my settings as they were and just use the signal out of BMD Extreme for client preview monitoring – pointing towards the couches and coffee machine 😉

Does anyone have it set-up as such?

i.e. two LCDs, one full screen preview and BMD Multibridge Extreme output (DVI or RGB) for a client monitor? The BMD output could be to 3rd LCD – dell/apple 30″ or some random HDTV LCD or Plasma

Ill dig more but am on a good track.
    Thanks !
    Lav
