bmd 6.5.1 and vegas 8pro

NO IT DOES NOT AND IT’S REALLY ANNOYING.

This is the answer I received from Blackmagic on that issue:

“No chance for a quick update. We are currently working on getting support for Vegas 8, but there still a number of hurdles to overcome. Rest assured we are working on it, but we have not set timeline for release.”

Hi There

Well you say this, but I DO have it working here, I have a system with a Decklink HD Pro card, and in Vegas 8.0 and Decklink drivers 6.4 it did not work at all, but after installing Decklink 6.5.1 drivers, the option to preview in Vegas 8 Pro now shows the extra Display Device of Blackmagic Card. If you select this you get the option of 8bit or 10bit display output, and the output works. In fact the output seems quicker than this solution in Vegas 7.0e.

So although it technically may not capture, etc, the output is working here just fine, now all I need are the 64bit 6.5.1 drivers for the Multibridge Pro, to get my main system working.
