I’m using the recommended SSD’s but still getting dropped frames when recording in RAW. Is this a firmware issue, camera issue or can multiple formats and uses actually start to damage the SSD?

The first thing I’d do is make sure the SSD contacts are clean. Also, get smoe compressed air and blow out the camera’s contacts. I haven’t heard this is a problem, nut I know P2 cards had problems when the contacts were dirty. The SSD only has a finite life, but that shouldn’t be happening if it’s relatively new.
